Helena Arahuete, principal of LAUTNER ASSOCIATES-HELENA ARAHUETE ARCHITECT, is dedicated to the creation of Real Architecture as unique, one-of-a-kind, timeless, flowing spaces that draw inspiration from the best aspects of the site, the Owner’s sensibility and way of living. Helena’s journey in architecture began in 1971 when she started working with the renowned architect John Lautner on the Arango Residence in Acapulco. Over the years, she served as Project Architect on numerous Lautner projects and eventually became the Chief Architect in John Lautner’s office until his passing in 1994.

Helena Arahuete’s recent and current projects span across various states in the United States and even extend to Australia. With an international sensibility stemming from her upbringing in Belgium and Buenos Aires, Argentina, Helena brings a unique perspective to her work. She obtained her architectural license in California in 1980, was certified by NCARB in 1992, and later became a Licensed Architect in Idaho and Michigan in the mid-1990s.
