MaraLee Olson Design Studio is a landscape architectural design firm founded by MaraLee Olson in 2014. With over a decade of experience in the industry, MaraLee brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her studio. She holds a Bachelors degree in Environmental Design and a Masters degree in Landscape Architecture, and is licensed by the State of Wisconsin to practice landscape architecture. MaraLee is a strong advocate for Women-Owned and Black-Owned businesses, actively supporting and encouraging others to do the same.
Having worked at the award-winning landscape architectural firm ZDA, inc., MaraLee has a proven track record of success in the field. She has also been involved in establishing the Hamer Center For Community Design Assistance at Penn State and teaching open space design at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. MaraLee’s design philosophy revolves around creating outdoor spaces that not only look beautiful but also cater to the needs and experiences of the people who use them. She believes in thoughtful and purposeful design that considers every aspect of the space and how it will be utilized.
At MaraLee Olson Design Studio, the focus is on helping clients ‘make room for love’ in their outdoor spaces by enhancing visual aesthetics, flow, and functionality. MaraLee is known for her ability to bring calmness and wit to even the most challenging situations, ensuring a positive and enjoyable design experience for her clients. With a membership in professional organizations such as the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and the Wisconsin Chapter of ASLA (WIASLA), MaraLee is dedicated to upholding high standards of design excellence and client satisfaction.
